With winter drawing in and the sun falling ever earlier in the day I have decided to dream of flip flops and sunny beaches.
When the sun is with us I am a happy flower. I can take everything in my stride even the worst in life.
That is why today I am singing along to Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros Home song. It’s a genius summer tune. Takes me straight to the beach, the sun and my flip flops.
Former US Presidential candidate John Kerry earnt a reputation as a flip flopper thanks to some targeted Republican commercials in the 2004 Presidential election. The fact that he is a thoughtful man keen to look deeply into an issue and not simply issue a simple statement to a complex matter seemed to go over many peoples heads.
